The shooting took place in a constant atmosphere of stress, for Anderson was in constant counterattacks with the Fox, every day a scandal, every day a new change and he had to literally destroy his own brainchild to please the studio. In one gender remained unquestioned, the film was supposed to go at the box office with an adult rating, for the director believed that a softer rating would kill the atmosphere of the film. Finally, the shooting ended, the film went to gold. Left, but not really. I can’t even imagine what the director felt when I came to the premiere. Without his knowledge, the film was completely changed, a number of plot scenes were removed, in order to make the film in short, plus all the bloody scenes disappeared, or were processed using computer graphics, for the sake of a milder rating. Anderson did not remain in debt, and simply disowned the film, saying that this was not his film, this is not like he wanted to show people. These are the things.
Well, what can I say. This is a fierce fig. For an ordinary viewer. For fans, this is a spit in the face. Instead of an epic confrontation of the two colosses, we got something strange, crumpled, hollowing and incomprehensible for whom. I will be objective-the scenery is excellent, there are suitable references, somewhere there is a normal plot, the action is, in principle, a suitable. But who cares if the film is boring, primitive and incomprehensible for whom it is shot, worse than which only his sequel, but there is already a completely clinic. And after all, it is not possible to scold Anderson, for he wanted to do well, he could do well, he did good until the studio took him by the gills. And in the end it turned out a bad movie that I want to forget as a terrible dream. The fans deserved not that. In no case do not look, especially if you are fans yourself-know.
